What part of your childhood do you miss the most?
Submitted by Maretta.
Fresh milk and cream every day? (We lived on a farm). Freedom from adult responsibility? My youth? It's hard to say. I miss all of those things, but I don't miss the lack of control over my own life that was my experience of being a kid.

If you could take a class right now and learn anything in the world, what class would you take?
Oh, where to start? Another language or two; web design; creative writing; photography; and possibly computer programming. And more.
What is the most annoying stereotype people say about the country or place where you're from?
I'll just say one word: kangaroos.
(No, they don't bound along city streets!)
What's your favorite time of day and why?
I like the early mornings best. When I was a single parent with young children (and later, teenagers) I loved to be awake early while they were all still asleep; that was the only time I could find peace and quiet and have time to myself. Now, even though all the girls are adults and not living with me (we'll ignore the one who is temporarily staying with me right now) I still like being awake very early in the morning because it's so quiet and peaceful then. Later in the day I feel that I have to be doing things, being productive, but first thing in the morning I'm free to just be, to read or think or whatever I want.

Why do you blog?

Because I like reading about other people's lives and in return, sharing bits of my life. Or I'm probably just narcissistic.
